J A Henderson writes young adult thrillers, children's books and non-fiction.  His last three novels were shortlisted for a for a total of thirteen literary awards which, happily, is his lucky number.  He is the winner of the Royal Mail Award and the Doncaster Book Prize. 

He also writes under the aliases Jan-Andrew Henderson and Ben Scott.
